A shrub is a vinegar that's been infused with fruits and herbs. We use a very traditional recipe in the making of our shrubs. We use the highest quality organic apple cider vinegar, organic fruits and herbs, and organic honey from one of the oldest honeybee farms in the state of Colorado.
Lower blood sugar levels
Drinking apple cider vinegar before a high carbohydrate meal improves insulin sensitivity, slowing the rate of blood sugar levels rising in people who are insulin resistant (a pre-diabetes condition) or have type-2 diabetes, according to a 2004 study.
