In our search for a complex ginger beer to enjoy solo or as a mixer, we encountered a lot of one-note options on shelves. After stumbling upon a gingerade at a farmers market in Kauai, we were entranced by the combination of fresh ginger and citrus. So we imagined our own version that would let us enjoy those flavors as often as we wanted. A potion to awaken the senses.
It all comes down to a little bit of citrus and lots and lots (and lots) of ginger: fresh ginger, raw ginger, and ginger extract for complex flavors and stomach-soothing health benefits. It’s bold and balanced from the first sip.
The process requires the most love and labour. We steep and squeeze dozens of pounds of dried raw ginger for each batch to extract the juice. It’s a process that can’t be rushed and takes a great amount of care. The drink demands it.
With all of our sparklings, science makes them the best on the shelves. That starts with achieving the maximum amount of carbonation. We’ve undergone plenty of experiments and internal testing to achieve the crisp bite that makes something so pleasant to sip. In our opinion, it’s one of the most important ingredients in a high-quality drink.
