A G&T is a staple and a Strongwater team favorite, so we created a non-alcoholic version as dry, botanical-forward, and harmonious as you’d get from your favorite bartender. A potion for exploration.
G&Ts have a nautical history. Quinine (found in tonic water) is a bitter compound from tree bark found to be effective in treating malaria. In the 1800s, British officers started mixing it with gin on board their ships to make quinine more palatable. That makes the G&T a very well-traveled drink.
A great G&T really comes down to the tonic, and we wanted ours to be notably Strongwater. Inspired by our team’s global adventures and our founder’s Scandinavian roots, our G&T features our Nordic tonic. This savory spin on tonic water is thanks to herbs like dill and sage that accentuate the juniper.
Good things may come to those who wait, but great things come to those who experiment, and we don’t stop until we create products we can’t wait to rave about. All of our mocktails begin with our potion brewer putting pen to paper for weeks or months to create a formula we’re proud of. Our team’s collective experiences, preferences, and travels play into these flavors, evoking different moods and settings.
We test it out in small batches first, gathering feedback from our team, before brewing larger quantities and carbonating at high altitudes. We take good drinks seriously and built our own lab. Doing everything in-house affords us greater control over the final product. This results in crisp mouthfeel and champagne-sized bubbles.
Pour over ice and garnish with a lime wedge and dill.
